Last Friday night 2nd of November Alvaro attended the Los 40 Principales Music Awards gala at the Wizink Center in Madrid, where he was also nominated in the categories Artist of the Year and Video of the Year for his hit La Cintura. Unfortunately, Alvaro didn't win the 2 awards he was nominated for and which he deserved so much, but of course, for us he'll always be the best, and we're so proud of him, because with his music he brings joy and positive energy to the lives of countless millions of people all over the world, and his huge international success keeps growing by the day. Although he didn't take home a trophy, nobody will forget the special moment when Alvaro went up onto stage to hand over the award for International Song of the Year to Dua Lipa, and started to sing his hit La Cintura, and the entire Wizink Center sang and danced along with him, which was one of the most memorable moments of the evening. Throughout the gala, Alvaro was accompanied by his girlfriend Sofia Ellar, who had come along to support her boyfriend, and together they undoubtedly formed the most beautiful couple of the evening.

El pasado viernes 2 de noviembre por la noche, Álvaro asistió a la entrega de los 40 Principales Music Awards en el Wizink Center de Madrid, donde también tenía dos nominaciones en las categorías Artista del Año y Videoclip del Año por su éxito La Cintura. Lamentablemente, Álvaro no ganó los dos premios para los que estaba nominado y que tanto se merecía, pero desde luego, para nosotros siempre será el mejor, y estamos tan orgullosos de él, porque con su música les aporta alegría y energía positiva a incontables millones de gente por el mundo entero, y su gran popularidad a nivel internacional sigue creciendo con el día. Aunque no ganó ningún trofeo, uno de los momentos más memorables de la noche fue cuando Álvaro subió al escenario para entregarle a Dua Lipa el premio a Canción Internacional del Año, y empezó a cantar La Cintura, y todo el Wizink Center cantó y bailó con él. Durante toda la gala, a Álvaro le acompañó su novia Sofía Ellar, quien había venido con él a los premios para apoyarlo. Juntos destacaron sin lugar a dudas como la mejor pareja de la velada.
